A Creative Entrepreneur and Dedicated Family Man
Born and raised in the Greater Vancouver area, Daniel has watched its communities grow and change throughout his life. Ten years ago, he and his wife chose Burnaby to start a family and build a life with their son. What stood out to them was the balance Burnaby offered—a vibrant urban energy with community charm and seamless access to green natural spaces.
Over the past decade, Daniel has seen the opportunities and challenges facing Burnaby families. He understands the concerns of parents who want their children to have access to quality facilities, affordable opportunities, and a place where they can build success. He also sees young adults struggling to launch their careers and find their footing in an increasingly expensive region. These are the families Daniel wants to represent.
With over 20 years of experience helping businesses create and grow their brands. He solves problems by bringing people together, turning ideas into action, and balancing creativity with practical solutions. As co-founder of Burnaby First, he’s ready to put that experience to work for the city he calls home. He believes this city has everything it needs to thrive—and he is inspired to bring his experience, energy, and commitment.
Good ideas require sound planning and fiscal responsibility from local government, ensuring Burnaby residents and businesses aren't overburdened by property taxes and rental increases—especially during these uncertain economic times. Despite the challenges ahead, Daniel firmly believes in Burnaby’s potential, and he has never felt more inspired to make a meaningful difference.
